Wolf tattoo may always be associated with dogs. Dogs which are considered as man’s best friend are said to have descended from these ferocious beast- the wolves. Many are confused as to whether or not this kind of tattoo would also suit among females. That would never be a question. Wolf tattoos can be worn by both sexes. It is not gender specific.

One of the most popular tattoo designs is that of a howling wolf. It appears with the wolf looking up. Often times, only the wolf’s head is being shown in the design. However, if the artist’s intention is to give emphasis on the scenery, the entire body of the wolf is being depicted.

Another kind of wolf tattoo is inspired by the Twilight series- New Moon. Twilight fanatics prefer wearing this tattoo design.

There is also a tribal version of the wolf tattoo. If you are into tribal tattoos, you can have these wolf tattoos minus the fierce look wolf tattoos often display. Tribal version of wolf tattoos are more preferred among girls. You can have tattoo which appears to be howling. You can also have tattoos showing a wolf in action like wolves leaping or fighting.

Some may also opt to have Celtic wolf tattoos. Since this is not so common, you better find a good artist to have this type of tattoo adorned on your body.

Another type of wolf tattoo which captured the interest of many is the werewolf tattoo. Unlike the aforementioned wolf tattoos, this type is entirely different. This tattoo shows a biological connection among wolves and humans. If you prefer in having this tattoo you are advised to look for a talented artist. Better give a detailed description on the tattoo you want to have.

Perched on his left bicep, It depicts a tropical setting, with bamboo and a panther, the main element in the tattoo.
